Congrats on the award! I’ve visited New Zealand and it was great. I think you’ll love it when you go!

Thank you for the nomination! It’s so lovely that you thought of me. Thing is, I’ve had a policy for a while now where I don’t do these on my website. They don’t fit with the format of my blog (comics or stories). But I really appreciate it. And I can answer the questions here if you like?

    1. I started blogging in 2014. So about 4ish years.

    2. I was feeling frustrated by university. I needed to be creative, and I needed an outlet for it.

    3. I like making people laugh. And when I write/draw a thing, and it’s the *right* thing, I feel giggly and happy and powerful. It’s a good feeling.

    4. I don’t really have a favourite quote. Sorry. I’ve never been drawn to them as a motivational tool.

    5. I like drawing and writing, of course. I also love reading. I play the piano (a bit, badly). I knit. I play games (video games) and some of my friends got into board games over the last couple of years and now I like them too.

    6. My blog name is a bit more serious than it looks. I have social anxiety. I am shy. When I was younger I was *very* *painfully* *cripplingly* shy. I so often felt suffocated by silence. Putting my writing and drawing out into the world was scary, but that kind of silence is (to me at least) apocalyptic. Also, I like dinosaurs. So … Silence Killed the Dinosaurs.

    7. I have a cat named Percy! He’s the best … although as I type he is scratching my new reading chair -_-

    8. Ah! This is hard. I read soooooo much that I can never pick a single favourite. I think Terry Pratchett is my favourite author, if that counts as an answer.

    9. Blue.

    10. I like the stories. I always meant to be more of a blog-writer than a blog-drawer.

    11. This is hard. All sorts of small things. The good things people do. Special things about people not everyone sees. The things out in the world. *Why* people do things, which I find interesting and odd and fascinating. People loving things and enjoying things and being brave.

Thanks for responding. I remember when I was younger I was so shy. I still am, but my teacher was trying to go out of her way to get me to socialize more and was really sweet about it. I also have social anxiety and I look back to when I was a kid and realize that I’ve probably had it for most of my life.
      Happy New Year!
