So I do a lot of different things to stay healthy on a daily treatment and something I do besides take medication is treatments.
Treatments are things like the vest and nebulized medications.
The vest is something I put on pretty much like a vest that Velcro’s in the front. It shakes up all the mucus in my lungs. I do this for 30 minutes 3 times a day.
Something else I do is nebulizers. They are little handheld treatments that I put medicine in and hook up to a machine that powers them.
I do hypertonic which is salty and it helps hydrate the mucus to move it easier.I do this twice a day before the vest and it takes me 10-15 minutes.
I also do pulmazyne which is also a nebulizer which loosens the mucus.
I take albuterol which is considered a rescue inhaler which I do before every treatment and when I have breathing problems, which doesn’t help he problems go away though.
I do spiriva and symbicort also for asthma. I take symbicort 2 puffs twice a day and spiriva two puffs once a day.
The vest in total takes an hour and a half an then an additional 45 minutes to an hour more for inhalers, huff cough, and nebulizers.
